Chagrin River Company kitchens are Chef-Certified. Our kitchens are designed by kitchen designers who are also gourmet chefs. Designers who know what it takes to make kitchens that are easy to use and very functional. But they know not everyone will be cooking up gourmet meals and that there is much more to kitchens than only functionality.

We design kitchens around the way you will use your kitchen and what you like. We know the latest kitchen appliances and technology and which ones are best for the way you plan to use your kitchen.

Kitchen Remodeling is More Than Just Kitchens

Today’s kitchens are almost always integrated into other parts of the home. They are typically part of great rooms. So when we design and remodel kitchens, we know we are designing and remodeling much more than just a kitchen.

Because we design and remodel homes, integrating your kitchen with other parts of your home is second nature to us. We understand how different rooms work together best. We understand how people flow between adjacent rooms and what traffic patterns work best with these types of kitchens.

Our Kitchen Design and Remodeling Process

Initial Meeting: Meet at your home to see your home and to discuss your kitchen project, your ideas, and needs. Discuss your target budget and the types of product and materials selections you will likely want in your kitchen and typical cost ranges for what you have in mind. Address your questions and concerns about your project or Chagrin River Company.
Project Proposal: Chagrin River Company prepares a proposal to design and remodel your kitchen outlining the scope and nature of the kitchen discussed. Costs at this point include quality-adjusted allowances for product and materials selections you will need to make later in the process.
Design Phase: Upon acceptance of the proposal, the design phase of the project begins. It ends with a specific design you have approved and a construction cost based on the allowances and specific product and materials selections you have made so far.
Construction Phase: The removal of your current kitchen and the construction of your new one. Any product and materials selections not previously made need to be made early in this phase. This phase ends after your kitchen passes all building inspections and you have approved the work done.
Satisfaction Survey: Shortly after the project is finished, you will be contacted by GuildQuality, the leading homeowner satisfaction survey firm in our industry. You will be asked to take a survey about your experience with us.
Extended Limited Warranty Phase: Once your project is complete, your Chagrin River Company Extended Limited Warranty begins. This includes our coming to your home after 3-6 months to recheck the work and make any adjustments, if needed, to cabinet doors and fittings because of settling.
